A Neuropsychological Assessment is an investigatory procedure that aims to answer questions about the cognitive and behavioral functioning of patients. It, therefore, involves an in depth investigation into the cognitive functions, such as memory, attention, executive function and language, in order to build a neuropsychological profile of the patient (possible deficits and preserved abilities), establish hypothetical diagnoses and helping with differential diagnosis.
