O Centro de Pesquisa Pré-Clínica (CPPC) se dedica a pesquisas utilizando métodos de imagem in vivo como microtomografia computadorizada (microCT), microtomografia por emissão de pósitrons (microPET) e imagem óptica. Com foco em acompanhar processos moleculares e celulares em modelos animais, nossos objetivos incluem contribuir para o entendimento dos processos fisiopatológicos relacionados às doenças neurológicas, bem como para o desenvolvimento de novas ferramentas diagnósticas e terapêuticas. O CPPC funciona como um centro multiusuário, que fomenta a colaboração multidisciplinar utilizando ferramentas de alta tecnologia em imagem molecular.
