In order to improve care for children with epilepsy, the Pediatric Society of RS, with support from the Brain Institute of RS, promotes a Pediatric Epilepsy Training Day, PET1.

The program is an initiative of the British Association of Pediatric Neurology that started this training in Europe and since last year has come to Brazil, spreading to several states in the country. It involves lectures and interactive workshops that address the types of epileptic seizures, the management of the first event, the development of the main differential diagnoses of epileptic seizures, among others.

The course is aimed at pediatricians and residents of Pediatrics and Neurology and takes place on August 17 at the School of Medicine, inside the Hospital São Lucas da PUCRS. To register, click here.
