A book organized by Prof. Dr. Ivan Izquierdo – Head of the Memory Center of the Brain Institute of Rio Grande do Sul, has just been published: “Neurobiology of Psychiatric Disorders,” by Artmed Publishing. It congregates a number of experts from across the country to address different perspectives on applied neurobiology for psychiatric disorders for neuroscientists and clinical psychiatrists. Memory Center researchers Jociane de Carvalho Myskiw and Cristiane Furini wrote two articles in the book with Professor Izquierdo: “Animal models of psychiatric disorders” and “Biology of learning and memory”.
