InsCer mobilizes precautionary measures against the New Coronavirus
Over the past two weeks, working groups have been created in each of the projects of the Marist Network to deal specifically with the topic related to the New Coronavirus. All decisions adopted were based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and professionals at Hospital São Lucas da PUCRS (HSL), specialized in infectious diseases.
In the morning of this Monday, 16/3, the following decisions were agreed on the network and refer to the practices adopted in InsCer:
- Schedules and exams take place normally. However, patients, relatives and companions with symptoms of flu, cold and / or cough, are receiving masks and are led to wait for care at a special reception, in isolation.
- The spaces with the greatest circulation of people are ventilated and the number of reception chairs has been reduced, providing an increase in the space between them; and,
- The cleaning of surfaces has been intensified, with 70% alcohol, in addition to the provision of 70% alcohol gel solution for patients, companions and collaborators.
Any new definition will be communicated through our official communication platforms and, if necessary, we remain available and open to dialogue.
