Dean of Dentistry at the University of Maryland integrates activities at PUCRS

PUCRS received on Monday, January 13, the Dean of the School of Dentistry of University of Maryland , in the United States United, Mark Reynolds. The professor was invited by the professor School of Health and Life Sciences Maximiliano Gomes to integrate some seminars and activities at the University.

In the morning, Reynolds was received at the Office of International Cooperation, by the executive coordinator Carla Cassol. At the meeting, the structure of PUCRS and its projects were presented to the professor, in addition to opportunities for interinstitutional cooperation. Visits to São Lucas Hospital, Instituto do Cebra do RS, Science and Technology Museum and laboratories are also part of the visitor's agenda. < / p>

During his stay at PUCRS, the North American professor will teach three activities, two of which are open to the public. This Tuesday, the 14th, Reynolds joins the defense panel of doctoral student Thayana Leão, from Graduate Program in Dentistry . On Wednesday, 15, from 9 am to 11:30 am, the professor gives an internationalization seminar, presenting the research structures and mobility possibilities at the University of Maryland. The meeting will take place at the Living 360º Auditorium (room 215 of Building 15 on Campus - av. Ipiranga 6681).

On Thursday, the 16th, Mark Reynolds gives the class Biomaterials, bone and tissue , aimed at teachers and students in the field of periodontics and endodontics. The event is open to the interested public and will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, in the Living 360º Auditorium.
