The Institute of the Brain of RS has a new possibility of attending in a particular way: the Multidisciplinary Assessment of Children and Adolescents. A multidisciplinary team from the Institute will evaluate children and adolescents for suspected neurodevelopmental disorders and learning, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Developmental Dyslexia. The team conducts a multidisciplinary investigation that includes neurological, psychiatric, neuropsychological and speech-language assessment and the professionals, together, prepare a return for families.
